WHAT SHOULD WE EXPECT OF EACH OTHER?

According to Ephesians 4:16 the church is a body that needs what every other joint supplies. With this in mind there are certain expectations that go both ways.

  • We all need a place where we can be fed the Word of God and partake of the Bread of life and the living Water

  • We all need a place where we can be touched by the moving of the Holy Spirit

You can expect Chilliwack Victory Church to be a place of healing

  • Expect healing for your physical, philosophical and mental needs

What should Chilliwack Victory Church expect of you?

We expect you to be loyal and faithful

  • This means that we have an expectation that you share the same heart and spirit as the pastor and leadership

  • We have an expectation that you are supportive of our statement of faith and the vision of FVVC, as well as the vision of VCI

We expect you to become involved in the church

  • A church cannot exist without the help and input of the people that serve

  • The strength of any church is found within the quality of the people that serve in it

We expect everyone to be supportive with tithes and offerings

  • Without the tithes and offerings of God’s people the church cannot function

  • Tithes and offerings are the mechanism that God uses to fund His ministry and to prosper His saints

We ask for a willingness to serve as deacons as the opportunity arises

  • Deacons become the backbone of church programs, giving oversight to them

  • Their role is more than that of simply being the hands and feet of the church, they are seen as leaders and role models to follow

Clear expectations are the foundation of healthy partnerships.
